Our mission	Preserving the legacy of flight for present and future generations.

Opportunities	Reception Desk/Greeter Greet guests at our Flight Discovery Center, which houses the Air Zoo’s Restoration Center and even more of our amazing collection of aircraft. Occasional, Weekly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site Weekdays, Weekends Demo Volunteer Come in and play with our toys. We need someone who is outgoing and energetic with a smile to play with our toys to get our visitors interested in them. Thursday-Sunday 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Occasional, Weekly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site Weekdays, Weekends Summer Camp Assistants Help with our fantastic summer camps! Camps are every week all summer long. Be a part of this amazing experience alongside our professional educators who will share the thrill of science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics (STEAM), and aerospace science with campers through TONS of hands-on activities and interactive experiments. Occasional 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site Weekdays Data Entry Volunteers will perform data entry within various departments. Data entry and good computer skills are necessary. Occasional, Monthly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site Weekdays, Weekends Aircraft Restoration and Maintenance Volunteer Get “hands-on” with one of the most amazing collections of aircraft and spacecraft in the world! Volunteers ensure the Air Zoo’s aircraft, spacecraft, and exhibits remain in top condition for the public to enjoy. Occasional, Monthly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site, Skilled Weekdays, Weekends Docents Volunteers in this area serve as the Air Zoo’s teachers and tour guides, and have the opportunity to inspire Air Zoo guests on a daily basis! The Air Zoo’s Docent Training course ensures you will have everything you need to educate guests about the Museum’s collection of aircraft, spacecraft, and artifacts. Occasional 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal Weekdays, Weekends Greeter Be the Air Zoo’s first point of contact with our guests and set the tone for fun! Volunteers will greet customers and give general information about the Air Zoo. Occasional 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor None, On-site Weekdays, Weekends Event Volunteers (1-3 Day Events) Educational/Camps/Scouting Days – The Air Zoo’s Educational Days inspire kids of all ages through interactive experiences, hands-on activities, and much, much more. Usually occurring on weekends, these special days focus on rotating aerospace and science themes and include a wide variety of activities. Help us make these experiences unforgettable! How you help	The Air Zoo offers a variety of volunteer positions, most of which require little or no experience, with varying time commitments. Training will be provided for each volunteer opportunity. The volunteer opportunities will change monthly, based on the needs of the Air Zoo.

About us	Over its 40-year history, the Air Zoo grew from a nine-plane hangar display to a stunning, world-class aerospace and science education center with over 100 rare aircraft and spacecraft, interactive exhibits, and cutting-edge educational programs for people of all ages. The Air Zoo Legacy Foundation was created to support the operations and programming of the Air Zoo.
