Our mission

CranHill Ministries is devoted to being a ministry through which God is transforming lives into the image of Christ through Youth Camps, Family Camping, Retreats and Adventure Experiences.
Opportunities

ACTS Summer Service Program

CranHill is looking for groups of people from churches, youth groups, and families to partner with us as volunteers on a weekly basis throughout the summer. These volunteers will be working behind-the-scenes to help support, encourage, and provide a pathway for the mission of transforming lives into the image of Christ. Work in support roles, such as kitchen, maintenance, housekeeping, programming, activities, and more. This is a unique missions trip opportunity that is LOCAL, AFFORDABLE, and COMMUNITY-MINDED, as you SERVE shoulder to shoulder with other
believers to leave a lasting IMPACT.

Friendship Camp

At CranHill, we believe camp is for everyone! Friendship Camp is for people with special needs ages 16 and up, and it takes a team of awesome volunteers to help our staff make it happen, at no cost to you. Friendship Camp runs four different weeks.

Clean-Up Days

Come and serve as we prepare our grounds for our guests! Projects include everything from raking, spreading bark and wood chips, construction or repairs in all areas of camp, maintaining trails, and much more. Camp for FREE for the whole weekend! Call us to get your campsite reserved today!

Winterfest

Every winter, we hold a free community event called Winterfest. This is an opportunity for us to give back to the surrounding communities. We run a lot of different events and depend on our full-time staff and volunteers to make them happen.

Weekend Retreat

Throughout the year, we need volunteers to help with everything from the Kitchen, Barn Store, Adventure Courses, Horse Programs, and more. We provide meals as well as housing if need be for the weekend.

Volunteers have been the lifeblood of CranHill for over 50 years! Through the countless hours of hard work, skill, and dedication we’ve seen God grow this ministry into a place the serves 35,000 people per year and has over 100 structures on 380 acres. CranHill has been blessed by the support and efforts of so many people who love the Ranch and give of their time and talent in ministry to youth and families.

CranHill, located in Big Rapids, Michigan is a fun and fulfilling Christian Camp offering an unforgettable experience for kids young and old. We provide a variety of programs and activities, with top of the line facilities and qualified staff committed to the enjoyment and safety of all our campers. Year-round, CranHill provides a unique Christian camp and retreat experience filled with adventure, excitement, and fun. We offer four main focuses to our ministry: youth camps, family camps, group retreats and adventure experiences, with each one focusing on building relationships, strengthening families, and Transforming Lives Into the Image of Christ.
