A.R.K. Association to Rescue Kritters

Our mission | Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and return to the wild injured and orphaned wildlife. We also educate children and adults about wildlife through our education programs. |

How you help | A.R.K. is always looking for hardworking volunteers who love animals and can abide by established protocols. We ask volunteers to sign up for at least one 4 hr shift per week. Training is provided and there are several areas where we need help including animal care and education programs. |

About us | The A.R.K. is one of the largest free-standing wildlife rehabilitation facilities in Michigan. In 2024, A.R.K. admitted almost 1500 injured and orphaned wildlife. In addition to rehabilitation, A.R.K. offers a paid summer internship to give university students interested in pursuing a wildlife or veterinary degree hands-on experience working with wildlife. We also hold state and federal permits to keep unreleasable raptors and mammals for use in education programs at schools and other venues. |
