| Our mission | The Hamtramck Parks Conservancy was created to operate, improve and provide for equitable access to recreational facilities within the City and School District of Hamtramck. The conservancy seeks to promote the creation, operation and maintenance of green spaces, recreational grounds and facilities for public use and provide health, education and welfare opportunities to the communities served by those spaces. |

| Opportunities |
Hamtramck Parks Conservancy (HPC) is hosting three full day Hands-on Park Stewardship Days this season. Projects and locations will be announced in advanced of the event. The location will be a park located in the City of Hamtramck, but may rotate depending on needs. Volunteer work may include trash pickup, gardening (planting, weeding, mulching, trimming, etc.), and general maintenance (painting, cleaning, etc.). Light snacks and water provided. Please bring a refillable bottle for water. Expect physical tasks, time on your feet, and moderate lifting. Contact us with any questions of concerns. |
