The East Side Soup Kitchen provides meals and hope in the heart of Saginaw. We are honored to serve our community, treating all individuals with dignity and respect.
We rescue shelter dogs, train them in our prison programs, pair them with veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or Traumatic Brain Injury, and continue their training to be service dogs. By doing this, we are Rescuing One to Heal Another!
Our mission is to be a leading resource in the prevention of child abuse and neglect, and the protection of children through advocacy, education, intervention, research, training, and treatment, in collaboration with the community.
Our nonprofit organization focuses on raising awareness of the mounting homeless and stray dog epidemic in Detroit, along with advocating for humane rescue alternatives such as no-kill sheltering, foster care and adoptions, pet identification and healthy pet population control through spay and neutering.
Helping people out of poverty and homelessness
To serve those recovering from addiction by providing a welcoming place for support, meetings, and fellowship.
Our mission is to help homeless and high-risk girls and young women avoid violence, teen pregnancy and exploitation, and help them to explore and access the support, resources and opportunities necessary to be safe, to grow strong and to make positive choices in their lives.
To provide a complimentary home away from home, steps away from the hospital, for those in need of restoration while either comforting a sick loved one or receiving treatment themselves.
