Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) – Lansing, MI Chapter is part of a national nonprofit organization that is dedicated to ensuring that no child sleeps on the floor. The Lansing chapter focuses on building and delivering beds to children in need, providing them with a safe, comfortable place to sleep. SHP works to provide dignity, stability, and a better quality of life to children by meeting a basic need and offering a fresh start.

The Lansing chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace provides essential services by constructing and delivering beds to children who do not have a proper bed of their own. Volunteers work together to build high-quality beds, which are then delivered to families at no cost. In addition to beds, the chapter also provides mattresses, bedding, and pillows to complete the sleeping setup. SHP’s services are available to families in need throughout the Lansing area, helping to address child poverty and improve overall well-being by ensuring that every child has the dignity of a bed to sleep in. The chapter relies on volunteers and donations to carry out its mission and reach as many children as possible.
