Mission: To compassionately assist individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.

Face Addiction Now is a nonprofit organization guiding individuals, families, and communities affected by substance use disorder by coordinating care and reducing stigma, through a variety of programs and resources, at no cost, fostering a path towards healing and recovery.

Face Addiction Now, formerly Families Against Narcotics (FAN), was created in response to a heartfelt community gathering in 2007, following the tragic loss of two young people to heroin in the close-knit town of Fraser, Michigan. The community faced 30 heroin-related overdoses that year, each one a heartbreaking loss. Determined to make a difference, a group of dedicated individuals came together to form FAN, aiming to bring hope and support to those affected.

[agency_mission] =>

Face Addiction Now champions the power of compassion and respect in the recovery from substance use disorder. Through a comprehensive suite of free programs, educational initiatives, and resources, we provide a continuum of care that creates pathways to recovery and prevention. As a beacon of hope and knowledge, we guide individuals, families, and communities toward a future of health and well-being, reshaping the narrative around addiction with empathy and understanding.
