Our mission is to facilitate the distribution of surplus medical resources where they are needed. As such, our programs have both a local, national and international focus.

To provide the best possible care to our patients and community, including people whose economic, social or cultural conditions might otherwise prevent them from accessing health care.

To put our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility into action through facilities and programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

We restore sight and prevent blindness through the healing power of donation, transplantation and research.

To raise funds for research toward effective treatments and ultimately a cure for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), while raising awareness of the disease, encouraging physical activity, and building a compassionate community.

Our goal is to fight for acceptance and basic human rights for our LGBTQ+ community. We proudly celebrate Ferndale Michigan as one of the most LGBTQ+ friendly cities in the United States.
