We also educate children and adults about wildlife through our education programs. (Column 6/12) (copy) (Column 6/12) (copy) Who We Are/About Us * Visual Text The A.R.K. is one of the largest free-standing wildlife rehabilitation facilities in Michigan. In 2024, A.R.K. admitted almost 1500 injured and orphaned wildlife. In addition to rehabilitation, A.R.K. offers a paid summer internship to give university students interested in pursuing a wildlife or veterinary degree hands-on experience working with wildlife. We also hold state and federal permits to keep unreleasable raptors and mammals for use in education programs at schools and other venues. (Column 6/12) (copy) (copy) (Column 6/12) (copy) (copy) How You Help Visual Text A.R.K. is always looking for hardworking volunteers who love animals and can abide by established protocols. We ask volunteers to sign up for at least one 4 hr shift per week. Training is provided and there are several areas where we need help including animal care and education programs.
