| About us | The Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan (RMHWM) opened on March 23, 1990. Located on five park-like acres with an accessible playground, the House has twenty-five comfortable bedrooms with private bathrooms, calming artwork, and hotel quality linens. Caring volunteers provide freshly made meals and families have kitchen access if they prefer to cook their own meals. There are many amenities that make our House feel like home including: laundry, playroom, tv with streaming services, shuttle services, and more. We also have two local programs designed to support families at Pine Rest and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, two of our partner facilities. Our Family Room at Pine Rest Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health is a day-use space designed to give families a place to rest and recharge. Teh Hospitality Cart at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital visits different floors of the hospitals providing entertainment and necessary items to families and patients. |
