Our mission	Bradford Academy instills the qualities of character, excellence, creativity and service into our students as they become prepared, global learners.

Opportunities	School Board Member Bradford Academy’s Board is a dedicated group of, four to five members who work collaboratively to support the school’s mission and long-term success. Meeting monthly at the school, the board provides thoughtful oversight, guidance, and leadership to help ensure a strong educational experience for all students. Board members are actively involved in key areas such as governance, financial oversight, and strategic planning. Together, they help guide important decisions, ensure responsible stewardship of resources, and support policies and practices that align with the school’s values and goals. The board also plays an important role in shaping the school’s future through strategic planning, which typically occurs every three to five years. These efforts may include retreats, planning sessions, or extended meetings designed to set priorities and strengthen the school’s direction. Serving on the board is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference. Board members help create positive change both in the day-to-day life of the school and in the long-term vision that supports students, staff, and families for years to come. About us	When you enter the doors of Bradford Academy, you will notice an academy that takes learning seriously, but properly balances their rigorous curriculum and high expectations with a family-like environment. Students and staff work together to ensure educational, characteristic and academic growth. Students from the northwest region of Wayne County and the southwest region of Oakland County attend Bradford Academy’s tuition-free, prekindergarten through 12th-grade school. Our families can be confident that their children are learning in a safe environment with teachers who truly care about children’s success. At Bradford Academy, the top priority has always remained the same – the students. Building a sense of “family” is crucial because a family leans on each other and helps lift each other up. They trust and find ways to build relationships with everyone who steps through their doors. Bradford is a collaborative and supportive Academy that values relationships among staff, students, parents, and the community. Bradford Academy also provides students with technology integration learning, a well-rounded education, a safe learning environment and multiple athletics programs.
