About us

Who We Are

HealthEd for Everyone is a physician-led nonprofit addressing a critical gap in healthcare: nearly 9 out of 10 Americans struggle to understand health information, leading to worse outcomes and costs of up to $238 billion annually. We create health education resources that combine medical accuracy with educational design, making complex health information easy to understand and use.

Our Approach

Our interdisciplinary approach combines medical expertise with educational design, UX research, and psychology in order to solve health literacy challenges that simple language changes can’t address. All resources are physician-reviewed, evidence-based, and designed for all abilities and learning needs. Everything we create is free to patients, with no ads or tracking.

We create multiple formats to meet different learning needs: webpages, pamphlets, videos, interactive tools, and social media content. Our resources aim to help patients understand their health, make informed decisions, communicate with providers, navigate the healthcare system, and advocate for themselves.

Our Progress

Since our founding in 2024, we’ve developed comprehensive guides on topics including blood pressure management, emergency room preparation, mental health support, and patient-provider communication. Our guides are physician-reviewed and continuously improved based on user feedback.

We’re governed by a board of directors with expertise in healthcare, education, and nonprofit management. Our resources are currently being used in clinical practice settings.

Looking Ahead

We’re expanding our content library, implementing robust feedback systems, and building strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations – all while maintaining free, barrier-free access. As a growing organization, we’re also building the operational infrastructure needed for sustainable scale.
