Mission: To raise awareness of ovarian cancer, provide resources and support to survivors and their families, advocate both locally and federally, educates Michigan communities, and fund innovative ovarian cancer research.
The Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MIOCA) promotes the early detection of ovarian cancer and improved treatment outcomes. Established in 2011, MIOCA is a Community Partner of the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance. MIOCA is committed to building a community that represents all individuals affected by ovarian cancer and where every person, regardless of their age, race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, and religion has access to our services and feels valued and welcome within our organization.

MIOCA serves survivors and their families by providing information, resources and support services as well as advocating for increased research and access to care. MIOCA serves the public by educating both women and healthcare professionals to better recognize ovarian cancer symptoms.
