Our mission	Ministry with Community is a daytime shelter and resource center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We are open 365 days per year to anyone who needs our services, including those experiencing homelessness, poverty, substance use disorder, and other crises.

Opportunities	Lunch Meal Service We are looking for volunteers to support our Lunch service by serving meals in the kitchen from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Lunch service happens every day of the week, so if there is a day that works best for you, feel free to join us! This can range from helping clean showers, getting members signed up for laundry, answering phone calls, providing care products to members, and more. About us	Ministry with Community was founded in 1978 by a small group of people led by Dorothy Markusse at North Presbyterian Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This group saw a need to provide basic services to adults with no other place to turn. In 2016, after a successful Capital Campaign, MwC moved into a new building at 500 North Edwards Street. Currently, between 250 to 500 meals are served daily. Both breakfast and lunch are served 365 days/year.
