Our mission	To create a supportive environment for the LGBTQ+ community and to be a resource in Macomb County.

Opportunities	Marketing Opportunities include: Develop MCP printed materials, Advertising, Expand knowledge of MCP in community, Develop MCP merchandise , and Sell MCP merchandise – online and at events. Occasional Teens, 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Office work, Event support, Indoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Pride Festival Planning Planning includes: Sponsorship & Fundraising, Event Operations & Logistics, Entertainment , Vendors , Pride Pub Crawl , Family & Youth activities and Drag Queen Brunch. Occasional Teens, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Virtual, Indoor, Outdoor None Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Professional Services Skilled volunteer opportunities include: Accountant, Bookkeeper, Grant writer, Fundraiser, and Lawyer. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Office work, Event support, Indoor On-site, Skilled Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Community Outreach Tasks include: Distribute MCP brochures/flyers around county, Talk to community groups/businesses/individuals about MCP, Develop listing of supportive groups/businesses in county, Help with Community Information sessions/volunteer recruiting, and Plan/coordinate events to connect MCP with the community. Occasional Teens, 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10), Families Event support, Indoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Fundraising/Sponsorships Tasks include: Develop list of potential funders, Solicit donations, Solicit sponsorships, Apply for grants, and Plan fundraising events. Occasional Teens, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Event support, Indoor None, On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Social Media Opportunities include: Write social media posts, Create social media images, Take pictures at events, and Social media management. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly Teens, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends

How you help	If we didn’t have volunteers, we wouldn’t be here. There is plenty of work to do and we try to have fun while we do it.
