How you help | The success of Circle Theatre is based in part by unending support and dedication of our countless volunteers. Circle Theatre is truly a “community theatre,” from the actors on stage and the crew working behind the scenes to the costume sewers, set-builders, technicians, event staffers, and even the Board of Directors – everywhere you look, you will find committed Circle Theatre volunteers. |

About us | Circle Theatre is the only community theatre in the West Michigan area that specializes in summer theatre. The Theatre was founded in order to allow community performers of all ages to continue honing their craft and to provide another opportunity for directors, choreographers, musicians, designers and technicians to gain employment. Although Circle Theatre’s more than 300 loyal volunteers are a vital part of the organization, Circle Theatre employs approximately 127 independent contractors from the West Michigan community on an annual basis. Additionally, Circle annually provides 9 paid internships to college students, 3 college scholarships, arts scholarships to children grades PreK-8 and offers an Environmental Leadership contest for ages 6-14 in conjunction with the Magic Circle children’s production and workshops for young and adult performers. |
