Our mission	YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to prayer and the Word of God, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.

Opportunities	Kitchen Crew This team comes in to help prepare, serve and clean up after the meal. Weekly Teens, 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Indoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings Youth Leader Spend time in the rec center building relationships, having fun, and maintaining a safe environment. There is the additional option of overseeing a small group of 5-8 teens with whom you strategically build relationships with and do outside activities. Weekly Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor On-site Weekdays Tutor Helping students after school with their homework. Weekly Teens, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Indoor None, On-site Weekdays Special Ops Teacher If you are skilled in dance, art, cooking, sports, computers, financial literacy, music, etc., you could be a special opportunity teacher for our five week classes. Occasional, Weekly 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Evenings

About us	Every day at community centers, high schools, middle schools, juvenile institutions, coffee shops, and local hangouts, our staff and volunteers meet with young people who need Jesus. There are 31,000 young people between the ages of 11 to 19 in the Kalamazoo area, and studies show that 20,000 of those teens are not in a church, or in a personal relationship with Jesus. Sharing Jesus with those 20,000 teens is our heart beat.
