Our mission	We strive to be a leading partner in Lenawee County ensuring that no individual or family ever has to spend the night outdoors because they cannot find safe shelter. We intend to be that beacon of hope for the homeless that provides a compassionate environment as our guests take the path forward.

Opportunities	Fundraising Share the Warmth of Lenawee also hosts two fundraising events each year. Our Annual Dinner and Auction is held in the spring each year and our Annual Golf Outing is held in the autumn. Occasional Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Event support None Evenings, Weekends Meals Volunteer to bring the evening meal. This may be a meal cooked in your kitchen or purchased foods. Our guests are appreciative of pizza, sandwiches, salad, soups, or any nutritious meals. Snacks are also enjoyable and these may include chips, cookies, crackers, breakfast foods, and so forth. Occasional Teens, Adults, Child with Adult Individuals, Groups (2-10) Indoor None Evenings, Weekends Laundry We are always looking for people willing to assist us in washing our bedding items – sheets and pillowcases daily and blankets monthly. Adrian Laundromats are generous in providing their facilities to wash and dry. We need volunteers to pick bedding up at the shelter, launder, and return it. Occasional, Weekly Adults Individuals Indoor None Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Onsite Sign up to spend a shift with our guests. We will provide training, checklists, and everything you need to host a successful shift at the shelter. We work with local churches, universities, colleges, community groups, and caring citizens to staff the shelter during the times guests are present. How you help	Share the Warmth of Lenawee has many volunteer opportunities available to those in our community that wish to help our citizens without an address.

About us	Share the Warmth of Lenawee is a 501 (c) 3 entity that accepts donations at any time. Your donation is tax deductible. Our mission is to provide the homeless in Lenawee County warm shelter and food in a physically and emotionally safe and clean environment.
