Baraga County Shelter Home

Baraga County Shelter Home’s mission is to develop, support, and promote efforts at the elimination of all domestic violence, sexual violence, and stalking in Baraga County.

Strong community support is essential in the maintenance and expansion of services to the survivors of domestic and sexual violence in our area. We need your support, whether it be donations – monetary or in-kind, volunteering, or helping educate the community about the Baraga County Shelter Home’s mission and services.

We believe, listen, and respect survivors and provide support, information, counseling, and advocacy to overcome the negative effects of violence, empowering them to take steps towards achieving safety and self-sufficiency for themselves and their families. We also do important work towards achieving our mission of eliminating domestic and sexual violence through social and systems change.
