Our mission

Mint Artists Guild transforms young aspiring artists by providing education, enrichment and experience, resulting in earning opportunities, exposure, and mentorships that launch creative careers and lasting connections. Mint also infuses the community with art and creative experiences, supporting positive and healthy cultures.
Opportunities

Mint Volunteer

Mint Artists relies on volunteers to write grants and serve as experts at our business of art workshops. Volunteers also assist us at art fairs and exhibits and help with finances and future planning. Two volunteers even created our website.

About us

Mint fills a big hole in the Detroit cultural scene, which has many youth organizations focused on dance, music, theater, stories and poetry. Until now, none concentrated on visual arts or creatively taught business and career skills to creative young people. With Mint’s fresh entrepreneurial focus, we intend to thrive and add to the economic success stories that are gaining momentum in Detroit.
