Our mission	To empower youth in West Michigan through educational and recreational experiences that promote social responsibility, encourage academic success, and support the development of healthy self-esteem.

Opportunities	Share your Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) Skills Lead a science experiment at our STEM Squad after school program in Grand Rapids, showcase your profession through hands-on learning at a Saturday day camp, share your technology or engineering skills with our property committee to help improve and steward our land. One-time 21+, Adults Individuals Event support, Indoor None Weekdays, Weekends Help out in our Grand Rapids office Prepare camper or donor mailings. Like to organize? Come “kondo” our office and program supplies (Grand Rapids or Lakeshore). Help out with filing, cleaning and other admin projects. Occasional 21+, Adults Individuals Office work, Indoor On-site Weekdays Get your hands dirty on Lake Michigan Gather a group for a half or full day to clean-up camp’s property, adopt a cabin to clean-up and get ready for campers, lend your construction skills to help with repairs or new building projects. One-time 21+, Adults Groups (2-10) Physical None Weekdays, Weekends Share your Love of the Arts, Sports or Nature Teach or assist with our camper workshops during summer camp on Lake Michigan, put on a kid-friendly dance, drama, music or other arts performance for our campers, hare your expertise with our staff to help them carry out workshops with excellence! One-time 21+, Adults Individuals Event support None Weekdays

About us	Camp Blodgett remains a Partner Agency of the Heart of West Michigan United Way and has four primary programs that carry the spirit and values of Camp Blodgett throughout the year. Each year at Summer Camp we serve over 500 campers, of which 40 are STEM Academy campers. During the school year, we maintain contact with our summer campers and serve as many as 200 youth in our school year programs: Young Leaders, STEM Squad and Day Camps.
